smiles and miles

Smiley faces are everywhere!

Spontaneous Smiley
Spreading Smiles one Snapshot at a Time.

Bike from Georgia to Alabama? Why?

Silver Comet Trail - The former railroad line turned into trail is now complete from near Atlanta to the Alabama line, 61 miles, where you can continue on for another 33 miles into Alabama. Great for biking!

Bodies found in Atlanta!

BODIES...The Exhibition features more than 250 real, whole and partial human body specimens providing an up-close look inside the skeletal, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory and other systems of the human body. These specimens have been meticulously dissected and preserved through an innovative process that gives individuals the opportunity to view the complexity of their own organs and systems like never before.

It is the weekend again, so get out there and enjoy the Spring. Don't forget your camera, find a smiley and send it in. Walk or bike somewhere neat - like Alabama (?), or discover your inner self. Have a great weekend!

I really enjoyed riding my bike on the Silver Comet Trail... until there was a murder and after that a couple of muggins by gangs - now I prefer to take my chances on the opened roads.

There is less than a month left for the King Tut exhibit in Atlanta.

I also enjoyed riding on the Silver Comet. I used to ride thru an area between Rockmart and Dallas that was VERY secluded and was never really afraid but I did keep my eyes open. I quit riding because it was about a 40 mile round trip by car to get there. I quit several years before the murder but I wouldn't ride alone there ever again.

I love the macaronni smile!

The Silver Comet Trail sounds like a wonderfully quiet trail to ride a bicycle on. I'm so glad that they are setting aside more places like this...my daughter (the runner) would love this.
