we know drama

Granddaughter Sarah in her first drama production, she was officially part of the 'ensemble' cast at last week's play.

Sing Down the Moon is a collection of wonder (or fairy) tales from Appalachia. Many of these stories have their roots in fairy tales that may be familiar to you, featuring Jack and the Wonder Bean, Catskins, The Sow and Her Three Pigs, The Enchanted Tree.

This new Southern musical deftly weaves traditional tales and original music into a keepsake quilt of mountain lore and wisdom for the whole family.

Wow, this takes me back to high school days, I remember the drama department putting on Oklahoma! It was fun to watch, and we all went around singing the songs for days.

I wish I had been there to see Sarah, it looks like it was a lot of fun! Love the description - a keepsake quilt of mountain lore.

High school can be tough if you let it, but I think Sarah is liking it just fine, keeping involved, making friends, and good grades, we are all very pround of her.
