some assembly required

cotton colors
artistic consultation
color layout
puzzle quilt

I have the pattern, Quilter's Puzzle.

I have the fabric with help from the ladies at Mountain Holly Quilters in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

The pieces are all cut out.

For this puzzle pattern, the placement of all the colors must be determined before the first piece can be sewn, so thanks to Carrie for her artistic arrangement of colors.

After a couple of wrong turns and use of the dreaded seam ripper, all adjoining colors are checked and double checked. The blocks are coming together nicely, I must say quicker than anticipated.

I have not had a project in a while, it feels good to be making something again!

NICE! Lucky you to have some help.

The Zipper quilt that I have done works using the same concept - becasue the 2 "blocks" bleed into one, like the teeth in a zipper.

That will look beautiful when it's done. Glad you're enjoying your new quilting project :-)

It's going to be beautiful, and a lovely way to while away some of the winter hours when we're stuck indoors.
