Berry College - High School Invitational 2008


All three granddaughters are running on the cross-country team at school. They practice every day, run in meets with other schools, and even went to Berry College last Saturday for an all day event. They warm up and cool down and stretch and check their times. It is still very hot here and I don't see how they do it.

I have been to a couple of the races, and I think the best part is after the race when that one girl's grandpa opens up the tailgate of his truck - once it was used as a table for slicing cold watermelon for the girls, and yesterday he had a big tub of homemade ice cream, a big hit on a hot Georgia day!
