rolling in the dough

Carrie and Sarah have fun in the kitchen, filling the house with the sweet aroma of sugar cookies.

The holiday spirit has arrived, with dollar store aprons, cookie dough from a roll, and girls having fun in the kitchen. (click picture for bigger fun!)

When the working day is done
Girls, they want to have fun
Oh girls just want to have fun

Yum! Cold weather does bring out the cozy activities and the comfort food.

What kind of application allows you to make those "Poloroid" type photos and put them in an artful arrangement?

Just curious. I like how it looks. Very arty.

Joann, I use Picasa - free from Google, see post here.

Also, Joann, when clicking on your name, it doesn't go anywhere - do you have a blog?

Mmmm...I can smell those cookies baking! Baking is definitely one of my most cherished holiday traditions. My Mama always baked a lot, I bake a lot (and give my cookies and breads as gifts), and I hope my children will always bake a lot at Christmas, too. I always play Christmas music as I'm baking--I love Christmas music, too.

Thank you so much for your kind comment on my poem--it meant a lot to me.

I've missed visiting! Too busy and too tired! Gotta quit takes up too much time and wears me out :)
The girls are having fun :)
Will those Christmas cookies be eaten now, or frozen for later?
