turning over a new leaf

These maple leaves are vintage, handed down through the generations. A guess would put them being made by Aunt Bess. They were originally in this quilt top, but I decided to make some changes.

Another quilt finished with the artwork of Linda Susie Quilts. Can you see the leaves quilted into the borders? (click to enlarge)

A quilt will warm your body and comfort your soul.

How very lovely. I'm sure your family will treasure all these heirlooms for generations to come. (Hope you are writing down all the provenance on these gems.) If I send you my address, can I have one?

The maple leaves look more vibrant in the new quilt top, don't they? The quilt is gorgeous.

The maple leaf stitching is very pretty, too.

You're so lucky to have these beautiful, functional artworks for your very own.
