quarter century

Happy Birthday Carrie!

Our youngest is 25 today. I know this is your day, but as a mom, I can't help but remember that morning 25 years ago, your dad driving me to the hospital - the hour and a half trip over curvy mountain roads to the nearest hospital that delivered babies... whew! A wild ride that morning and ever since!

Hope you have a great birthday!

You did good, mom and dad. Carrie is a beautiful, adventuresome (like her parents) young woman. I know you are very proud of her! Happy Birthday, Carrie.

Isn't it amazing how mothers never forget their pregnancies and and the details of their children's births as if they occurred yesterday? You forget the morning sickness and the pain but remember the joy of labor and delivery.

My youngest is 25 today. He had his birthday while we were in Cedar Key so he only got a card! Watching them as adults might be as amazing as watching them grow as kids.
