true colors

After 7 months of blending in, going with the crowd, sticking together, collectively disguised, wearing the green school uniform…

the trees have finally rebelled, their individualism is shining through, each with a personality all its own, showing their true colors.

Such a nice drive you have taken us on. I am jealous of your colors - down here we get green or brown - there is a little color here and there but nothing that could compete with wonderful trees.

We vacationed down your way this summer. How nice to see the fall season there!

thanks for your visit this morning, and I'll be looking in from time to time to read more!

One of the things I miss about living in Florida is the beautiful changing of the colors. I used to live in Virginia and traveled many times to Skyline drive to see the change in October. Thanks for the beautiful photos!

You have shown your true colors by describing the changing of the seasons in a magical manner. You are a divine poetess, Miss Susan, and I so love visiting you daily because you never fail to surprise and enlighten me. Thanks.

Lovely photos of your drive, and I love your analogy -- the trees look so happy that they finally get to dress up.

Oh, I'm so homesick for the mountains and fall. YOu and Fragmentsfromfloyd.blogspot.com
keep me hopeful of my way home to the mountains and change of season. Enjoy every leaf and pumpkin for me.

Very, very beautiful fall colors. Ours are now in the orange and rusty brown stage with some trees completely bare.
