lasting colors

On this last day of November 2006, the last of the fall colors show up in the azalea bush and mushrooms.

Just one more month to go in this year, time is going by very fast. You know what they say: Time flies when you're having fun!

In deed it does.
Beautiful photos. It is freezing in Colorado. The snow squeaks.

Beautiful, colorful scenes of November. It is raining here today and we expect several inches of snow to blow in from the storm in the West either tonight or tomorrow. Oh, goody. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our neck of the woods. All the little beavers are busy, busy, busy putting up their Christmas lights and trees. We even got our first Christmas card this morning! I haven't even thought about our Christmas newsletter yet. Better get busy.

I have a friend who makes earrings out of those kind of mushrooms/lichens. She would LOVE those ones you've got.
