Time to wrap it up, Christmas is over, time to take down the tree. Pack away the ornaments and decorations, wrapping paper and ribbons. Clean out the Christmas dinner leftovers from the fridge. Find a place for new items, and in the process maybe discard some old ones.
Time to wrap up the year, 2005 has been a good one.
Watched the grandchildren grow and change, trying new experiences in school, sports, music. Watched as our children experienced life's joys and disappointments, the relationships with in-laws, ex's and step-wives, and the joys of homeownership.
Did some camping and hiking (but not enough). Climbed Mount Pisgah!
Enjoyed the surprise 60th birthday party Sue's daughters gave her, visiting with all the lifelong friends and family that attended.
Saw Lance Armstrong ride through our little town in the Tour de Georgia. Rode our bikes on the Silver Comet Trail (I know, it doesn't even compare to Lance, but we did have fun).
Heard stories and saw pictures of the Curbows European Vacation!
Proudly watched and listened to Christmas songs being played and sung by all the kids on Christmas Eve - Justin and Sarah on trombone, Jesse on saxophone, Madison on piano, Racheal and Cody on vocals.
And just last night celebrated the year end with daughters and son-in-laws when were treated to a steak dinner!
Speaking of wrapping up, pictured are some blankets I made for gifts, 6 in all (2 daughters and 4 grandchildren). They are already enjoying wrapping up in them watching TV and sleeping.
