Aunt Heidi officiating

and my quilt in the background :)
After many months of planning and preparation by groom's mom, Jenny, the wedding and reception was a beautiful thing. Groom's Aunt Heidi performed a touching ceremony, starting out with, "It's not often that you get to perform a wedding ceremony for someone you have known since birth, it is sacred..." accenting her words with a choked sob. Lots of family and friends gathered to share in the celebration. Groom's brother Jesse gave a speech from Hawaii via video cellphone. As with most family functions, Kay was fashionably late but arrived in time to eat! A great time ensued, we were told - we slipped out of the reception early to head out on vacation!
