life size scrapbook

high school memories stitched with love
life-size scrapbook of a simpler time
yards of soft therapy when life gets hard
a warm cuddly hug from me to you

Finished! The first of four promised t-shirt quilts to graduating grandchildren, just two months until Sarah will see Gilmer HS in her rear view mirror.

She was just telling me about having to deal with a certain teacher and how glad she would be to get out of there. I told her it was all part of life's education - learning to deal with people, and if she thought high school teachers were hard, just wait until she meets a few of those college professors.

I hope she enjoys the quilt as much as I enjoyed making it. Use it! Take it on picnics, to the beach, throw it in the washer. The older it gets the softer it becomes, kinda like a granma!

life's lessons. It turned out wonderfully---just like Sarah who is still a work in progress.

I really love the way you did the border. She'll treasure this always.
