New Horizons Bank 2004 - 2011
I guess even a name carved in stone isn't guaranteed to last...

the bronze plaque is gone from the entry wall, leaving scars on not only the brick but also our hearts
It has been almost 3 weeks since a local bank went under, our bank, the bank that Buddy built. Community concern is palpable, but I haven't ventured inside yet, dreading to see new faces.
Unlike the movies, there was not a run on the bank, and apparently a 'seamless' transition took place, but it is just not the same.
