I can't find it - the switch to make things brighter - I think mine was pushed by mistake.
We were recently shopping for a clock radio, one we could see from across the room in the middle of the night… you know how old folks wake up at all hours, wondering what time it is, so we compared all the ones at Wal-Mart and found one advertising 1-1/2" high numbers in a bright blue LED display - sounds good.
Whoa! It is bright, like having a night light in the bedroom, which isn't so bad considering the reason the old folks wake up at all hours…
Upon further inspection, we discovered it had a dimmer switch, which makes it not so bright, and that started us to thinking…
What if my dimmer switch has been pushed in, just think how much brighter I could be if I switched it over to 'bright', now if I could only find it…
