We were surprised with a first snow of the season on the first day of December, not much accumulation but pretty nonetheless. The road over the mountain was solid ice, though, and folks that did have a place to go had to go 'round the long way. Folks like me that work at home kept the delightful home fires burning and said Let it Snow!
