5K and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk
The grandkids ran in the 1 mile race on Saturday. Madison has been looking forward to this race, her goal was to be winner in her age group. She was definitely that and also the first girl across the finish line. Racheal also won a trophy, with Sarah right behind her.
The school crosscountry coach was glad to see many of his runners participating and bringing home trophies. He set a good example by coming in 2nd in the 5K (and 1st in his age group!). A great time was had by all!
