road trip
Spending a week or so in South Georgia, in the little town of Statesboro. A college town without much else, except for lots of eating places and motels.
Buddy is working, covering a job while the superintendent goes on vacation. I brought my work with me, so while work goes on, we are seeing the area and eating out a lot. Buddy actually was here many years ago building a Chik-Fil-A.
We checked out the beaches this weekend, only an hour to Tybee Island at Savannah. It was good to be at the beach again, the smell of suntan lotion and the sea, the sound of the waves crashing, the feel of the cool breeze and hot sun. Very therapeutic, and free!
