I am from the glider
on my grandmother's side porch,
Coca-Cola in six ounce green glass bottles,
cornbread and sweet tea.

that is so cool.
Amazing what you find in the woods isn't it. It just doesn't seem that we're ever alone.
Very cool, indeed!
Wow...creepy and cool.
That's so neat! It could be an old blacksmith forge? How about a Civil War arsenal of some sort? You've got me wondering!
Happy WW! Mine is up too!
It looks so inviting, particularly the wordless part.
I love walking through woods! And you do find the most interesting and unexpected things in them!
It's a Civil War furnace, right? There's one over in Alabama that looks much like it. I think the one in AL was for making bricks. Not 100% sure. I can't hardly wait to get my umph back so I can go hiking again! I really miss it.
Thats so neat. There is a very well preserved on over in Centre Alabama on lake Weiss. It is fenced in to keep the public from getting access, but you still get within 20 feet of it. The other is is in bad shape and was never "fired" or the furnace was never lit back during the civil war. Its on a back road near Ohatchee alabama, just north of Anniston, my hometown. Love the shots!!
