Looks inviting to me!

Susan, that must be the best-looking insert I've ever seen. What kind is it? We have a boring heatilator fireplace (still great on a cold night but doesn't disperse heat all that well) and one day hope to find a better solution....

Thanks! I remember the shop, I assume it's the one that was on the right going south on 515. Nice couple from Ft. Lauderdale area. We stopped once on our way back there before we moved here. I recently noticed they were gone. We have a neighbor who's a fireplace/chimney guy, he may know who has them nearby. Or Spruce Pine is a nice place to visit......

I know it sounds silly, but it constantly amazes me to see your snow way over there, when here it is moistly, stickily HOT!

Your living room fire looks wonderful.... I'll be over shortly for a cup of hot chocolate (I'll bring the marshmallows!)

We had about 1 inch up here, but it's all melted now. Hot chocolate sounds like just the thing though, I'll bring the cookies.

I could be persuaded to sit by the stove with you, if I can bring my stitching along. :)

The fire looks divine. Is that really your stove, it is gorgeous We have a wood stove which is big and ugly but it heats our house in winter. The only problem is it gets so hot it blasts us out of the house unless it goes well below 40.

Your snow looks beautiful and so does your fireplace.
