bigger isn't always better

my husband's birthday is coming up
he told me what he wanted

he used to have one
but it broke

he tried to fix it with no luck
he wants me to find him a new one

I told him it's okay honey
you don't need one

bigger isn't always better
but he says it is

and he really wants one
and it is his birthday

he said I could tell the kids to get it
but I am not having that conversation

Home Depot did not have any,
apparently they are very popular

imagine the internet search results
I didn't even go there

the product description says it all
high impact, spring action, quick draw

he said on second thought get the regular size
the extra long one would be too heavy

not to worry
it will be here soon

hopefully everything will measure up
to his expectations

guys and their tools
gotta love 'em both

Oh my... The 'INVENTOR' of that measuring tool was a GUY!

Now you can measure for 16 feet long quilt borders!

This is hilarious! I told myself to never make me buy a tool. I hate buying things I don't understand and and left cold by. But I don't mind if he buys me a blender or a new dishwasher!

Just clicked the link in your e-mail and read this post. Hilarious! I read it to my hubby and he said, explaining the tape measure, "They're stiff and they don't bend down", which made me laugh even more :)
I hope your hubby has a great birthday. He sure is easy to buy for!!
