welcome sight

We came home to the welcome sight of the mountain laurel blooming. We didn't plant it, water it, fertilize it, or worry about the frost getting it. Mountain laurel just grows naturally in the woods around our house. One of the many perks of living in the country, using natural landscaping.

What a stunning picture of your home. That Mountain Laurel (I should plant some of that!) is gorgeous. Does it have an aroma?

Have a great Sunday. Going out to work on the yard.

Home, sweet home! - doesn't your house look so pretty nestled in the trees there?!

Today we rode to Natural Bridge State Park...I was going to post about it, but am tired so I'll wait for now. I took pictures of Mountain Laurel today that look exactly like yours and by tomorrow it should be close to full bloom at the park. I'm almost tempted to go back on Wednesday and see it in it's full glory.

I really love your home in the woods.
