snow day

Your life lies before you like a field of snow. Be careful how you traverse it, for every step will show.

Looks like you got quite a bit more snow than we did.

Don't you just love the beauty of a good snow? Makes you want to just stand there and breathe it all in -- the silence, the cold crisp air, the funny light, the sounds of the world dulled by the snow itself, and yet you can almost imagine the sound of the snowflakes hitting the ground. Plop, plop, plop. You hold your mouth open to catch a clean snowflake and the taste bursts on your tongue. You breathe in and out and the cold air freezes your nose hairs.

Such a beautiful sight from your deck. Where are those wild turkeys?

That's a great quote. I hadn't heard it before.

Wonderful photos! I especially love the rocking chair one with the open slats on the porch.

Your yard is so pretty and peaceful. Fresh snow is one of Nature's beautiful gifts. Love the pictures and the quote. Such good advise.
That chair looks comfortable!
The camping sounds like a nice change of pace.
How convenient for you to work from home.
