Rock Town
Took the grandkids to Rock Town, they seemed to enjoy it.
More pictures here.
Rocktown is located in northwest Georgia in the Crockford-Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area. From the parking area a mile hike takes you to the large rock formations, fun to climb on top of and squeeze through the crevices. The area is popular with rock climbers, and is a good place for the kids to get some climbing practice in, also. We made sure to go in the wintertime because of the possibility of wildlife (snakes, bobcats). The kids found the geocache there, along with 3 more geocaches on Pigeon Mountain.
