on the wall

We put together a life from the pieces we are given. Some pieces fit easily, others defy fitting in anywhere. Perhaps we trade some pieces for others, or discard them completely. In the end, it's what you make with your pieces....the patchwork of YOUR life.

What a lovely thought. I find it comforting to think that it is normal for all the pieces in our lives to be tricky to fit together. And yet, in the end, the patchwork quilt is a truly beautiful thing.

I love how eloquent and elegant you are. You can post one picture and one paragraph and they speak volumes.

What a unique way to display all your pretty Dutch dolls. I wish I had your talent.

(Finn is a poetess also. Loved her words of wisdom.)

Your other blog is wordpress and they have a feature to follow comments. Spent a fair amount of time on this subject again today. Boy when I get my mind stuck on something look out.
Sorry this is off topic from your post. I thought I left one prior but guess not. Lots of times I'll be typing a comment and come back to later and it's disappear and then I forget whether I did it on not.
Talk about menopause memory.
