life's little pleasures

The things that give me the most pleasure - rocking on the deck, enjoying the flowers, the peacefulness of living in the country.

Well maybe the second most pleasure, there are the grandchildren, of course, a constant source of pleasure - whether they are playing dress-up, or sports, or being sweet, or even when they are in trouble.

Isn't your life sweet? You have all the comforts of home, and a wonderful family to boot. Loved the snaps of the grandkids.

Your deck always sounds and looks like such an inviting place to be.

Love the photo of your grandkids 'in trouble'!!

By the way, I only just figured out what you meant when you commented on Ben's birthday post by saying 'is it time for the next one?' (I'm a little slow, OK?!) But noooooo, unless we have a 'surprise' child, we are gonna quit at two!

We just finished a hike in the Cuyahoga Valley today, and boy, how I'd love to plop down in that rocker on your deck. Lovely spot!

Mine is a rocking chair too...with a cup of tea. A chair that doesn't rock is useless to me.
