apple thoughts

Can you see…

the apples that don’t fall far from the tree

the bad apple on the ground

the ones that stress the family branches

those that are striving to be the apple of my eye

Did you know…

you will know how many children you will have by cutting an apple in half and counting how many seeds are inside

Last year's apple thoughts ...

Where's the 'apple a day (that) keeps the doctor away'? ;)

What a lovely tree. I don't think I've ever seen one quite bent over like that. What variety is it?

Did you pick a bunch of apples to make a pie or cobbler?

Loved your apple thoughts -- both this year's and last year's. Apples are a sure sign that fall is on the way!

So when do the apple seeds stop predicting the arrival of children? I'm almost too scared to eat another apple .... lol.

I've also heard that when young maidens will peal an apple that the peeling will form the shape of their true loves first initial.
:-D

I'm going to give my granddaughter (Matt's wife) an apple and cut it in half and count the seeds I see...And I BETTER SEE AT LEAST ONE SEED, but if there is multiple seeds she will just have a hissy fit.

Jelly, if you were our doc, we wouldn't want to keep you away! MK - yes, bought apples for a pie, although it has not materialized yet... Alice, I agree! Hopefully that one is just an old wive's tale. AIP - good luck!
