Your butterfly is lovely...Kerri also got a shot of one and I got a shot of one like yours, but with tattered wings. Wouldn't you know it, the only butterfly that slowed down enough for me to take it's picture was an injured one :(
Wow, what a beautiful shot! You must have a great camera. I am shopping for a new one. Love my Sony but it has this big hunking part that sticks out the front, making it heavy to schlep around my neck. This has been a good year for butterflies and hummingbirds around these parts--two critters I am always luring into my backyard.
Very pretty!
:-D
If you sit on your deck long enough, you can see any number of beautiful creatures -- butterflies, dragonflies, moths, hummingbirds, ladybugs, bumblebees, honeybees, wasps, noseeums, beetles, children, husbands, friends, and other loved ones.
Your photos, as always, are lovely and remind us of the beauty surrounding us if only we stop and look.
That is a superb photo! (the butterfly - I think there was another photo but it wouldn't show itself to me!)
I love coming to your blog every day, for my dose of happiness :)
Lovely flowers and butterfly. There's something about butterflies that always lifts the spirits - unless they are white cabbage ones and then you know you are in for a plague of green caterpillars.
If that was the view from the rockers ... what were the rollers seeing? .... oh, such a weak joke...
Two lovely shots and doesn't the butterfly blend beautifully with the flowers!
