Ten year olds playing football, what fun it is to watch them. Shouldn't football be played in the fall when it is cool? It must be 90 degrees out here! Doesn't seem to bother the players, though. This year they are playing more like real football, no coaches out on the field with them. Sometimes a pass actually connects for a touchdown and what excitement! And the tackles, whoa, they really got that down this year. Over the loudspeaker we proudly hear "tackle by #56" 4 times! If only Andy could hear it and see it, he would be so proud. Of course, Grandpa Jack is here with his cell phone telling Andy all about it.

Leann and Travis are here, both eating pickles, watching part of their family play football and patiently awaiting the rest of their family to arrive.

Family and football, doesn't get much better than this.

I feel so honered to be part of your journal. It makes Travis and I feel like we are part of the family. The sad thing is I read Travis what you wrote for us and he couldn't figure out which part of the family we were waiting on. :)

Thanks Susan for including us and adding smiles to our day!!
