Lafayette Louisiana Visitor Center

Most of the towns around here are small, but there is a midsize town about an hour away, with big stores and an airport. Lafayette, LA. But it is not pronounced like the one in GA.

In Georgia we say la FAY et, but here in LA it is LAFF ee yet. The locals on the job are always correcting - "Mr. Buddy, what did you say?"  For some reason they call him Mr. Buddy, I think he likes it.
