Chicot State Park

Chicot Lake

Cypress-Tupulo swamp

on the lookout for gators - but just a log

Southern Magnolia trees growing wild

A weekend visit to Chicot State Park - just 25 miles north the landscape turned from rice/crawfish fields to rolling hills and hardwood trees, it looks just like home, well except for the swamp. We even found a hiking trail!

What a relaxing place for a walk, except for the gators of course.
