It is heating up here in Oklahoma. The sun is out, the wheat is growing, the air conditioner is out...
So instead of sitting in a little box with the cool air blowing watching television, we opened all the windows. Suddenly it was almost like real camping. Fresh air coming in the windows, sitting outside in the shade in camping chairs, cooking out on the grill.
Memories of long ago tent camping trips - the cross-country honeymoon trip, camping in a hot tent in Kansas. The Disney World trip camping in another hot tent, fan blowing in the tent door.
It is hot but not unbearable, not nearly has humid as Georgia. It will be good to get the AC fixed, but for now sitting here typing and listening to the birds chirp and feeling the breeze through the open windows. Sometimes it is nice to think outside the box. It could be worse, at least no tornadoes in the near forecast.
