I love to walk through the fall leaves, hear the crunch
under my feet, feel the cool air blowing leaves around. I love to sweep them
off the deck, rake them out of the yard.
As opposed to using a leaf blower - which is convenient - but
noisy and smelly and your hands get all numb and your ears are filled with a
roar, it just ruins the whole autumn leaf season effect.
Our deck has a section that hinges open just for sweeping off leaves back into the forest. Does your deck have a leaf gate?
