sunny and cold
We woke up Sunday morning to brutal cold, cutting wind, and a dusting of snow in the parking lot. We bundled up and went to the beach for few quick pictures of the giant windblown waves then back inside to get warm. Luckily on the weekend a few more places are open so we went next door to Layton's for a big breakfast.
Later we ventured out to the Wal-Mart to see if they had any souvenir t-shirts. The store is old and small, not even groceries! But not to fear, a big superstore is under construction behind the old one, now hiring if you are interested.
Next stop was Food Lion for some groceries, then back to the warm room and a marathon of movies on TV. We picked up a bag of popcorn at the grocery store for $1.99. We had heard of the famous Fisher's popcorn here, and saw some for sale at the Boardwalk on Saturday. A bucket for $15.75? Wow. That's even more expensive than movie popcorn. So we still haven't tried it... yet. And what about the flavors? Butter, caramel, Old Bay???
