This Saturday proved to be a much better day to visit the boardwalk than last weekend. The temp was about 45, the sun was out, there was just a slight breeze, and lots of folks were out taking advantage of the day. Lots of folks buying expensive Fisher's popcorn and Thrasher's french fries.
We were told that the ocean water here does not get warm enough to go into until mid June and will be warm for about 6 weeks. So in the meantime visitors can walk the boardwalk and make sand castles and wish it was summertime.
