Living in the country, growing your own vegetables, great idea!
Melissa and family planted a garden this spring and enjoyed lots of squash and cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes, even watermelon! Unfortunately they weren't able to enjoy the one crop that earned the funniest comment, as the bears harvested the corn while no one was home one day - shucks and silks and empty cobs all over the yard.
Thanks to the special step-wife for this comment:
"You might be a redneck if... you have corn growing in your front yard!"
