quilt show

Mountain Quilting: A Community Exhibit
The Art Center, Blue Ridge, Georgia

Annually, the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (The Art Center) seeks out quilts handcrafted by our mothers, dauthers, aunts, grandmothers, great grandmothers (you get the drift). These delightful artforms are an exercise in duality. Art and Comfort. Beauty and function. Join us as we celebrate these artisans, who seek to provide beauty and function for their loved ones.

Beautiful quilts, Susan... I think it's neat that the Art Center in Blue Ridge features the old quilts (by some of the women--past and present). So many quilt shows and displays only show the modern stuff... I love to see the old patterns.

My 3 childhood girlfriends and I spent about 4 days in Blue Ridge in a cabin one year... Such a pretty area.

Hugs,
Betsy
