break time

Just a break in the regularly scheduled day for a 'granma' moment - flowers and quilts and teddy bears, oh my!

Great pictures...are the flowers by the log cabin Impatience (sp?)? They look like they trail out of the container. Will have to try them next year for my front porch baskets because they will get very little sun and I'm tired already of taking the baskets down and setting them out for morning sun. By the way the pictures of the Impatience on my blog were taken at the Rockford (IL) Botanical Gardens last year.

Oh how sweet, Susan.... Love those quilts... I don't quilt myself --but love them and have several. I have an old one which belonged to my mother.. Very special!

Love the bear and the flowers also...

Being a Grammy is just loads of fun..
Hugs,
Betsy

How do you keep them over the winter?

Flowers, quilts, teddy bears -- your home looks like it's full of comfort and welcome! If you ever get to Ohio, you must come to our Amish Country and all their quilt shops! You'd love them!

Oh, I like that last quilt...very pretty. The fan is nice to, but just something about the other calls to me.
