school's out for summer!

Tomorrow is the last day of school. These last couple of weeks have been full of activities, awards programs, chorus concerts, yearbook signing, saying goodbye to friends and teachers...

Sarah (on the left) being inducted into the Thespian Society, she also received honor roll and a Spanish award - I love her expression, wonder what she is thinking?

Madison and Racheal racked up a boatload of awards at the middle school this year! In addition, Racheal was inducted into the Junior Beta Club, the club which Madison just won the election for next year's president!

Racheal just finished up her season of fast-pitch softball, a lot was learned in this character-building year!

The spring chorus concert was entertaining as usual. Lots of local talent out there, look out Nashville!

So another school year comes to an end, the kids will scatter out and enjoy their summers.

This summer brings some milestones - the oldest turns 16 and the youngest turns 13, so no more little kids 'round here, teenagers, boyfriends, driving, and all the stuff that comes with teenage years.

Good luck to their parents, it is so nice to be on the sidelines looking on, this grandparenting thing is pretty neat!
