Good for you! I'm doing my own training getting prepared for hiking in the Tetons. I've gotten up to 5 miles. Did OK until the last hill. Then I hit the wall.

Go, Susan, Go!

I know I would not be ready for a hike but I am still walking 5-6 days out of the week. Actually I am trying to get built back up to the 3 miles I used to go before I laid off for 5 months. Sunday I bump up another lap to 2.8---slow slogging, just like you?

Thanks, Susan, I accept your invitation. By the time I've walked to your place I should be pretty fit....or dead. It's only what......about 20,000km .....oh, I forgot about the swimming as well...lol.

Sounds wonderful!

I'd love to be able to hike for a week on the AT sometime! Right now, we just content ourselves with walks to and from the trail when we're in Blairsville.
