grandma stuff

I have to clear stuff through my kids - clothes, curtains, hairstyle…

No, you can't get a perm, you will look like a grandma

No lace curtains, too grandma-y

Enough with the teddy bears and quilts…

Don’t look at those purses, Mom…

Even tho I am in fact a grandma, I guess I don't need to look like one. Thanks to my kids for keeping me young, at least in perception. I remember my grandmothers were very old and gray... what does your grandma look like?

Grandma = clutter ? I guess by the time you are a grandma you have a lifetime of collected stuff, and when it is all put on display it ends up as clutter…

clutter - A confused or disordered state or collection

The clutter here is taking over! I feel claustrophobic. We were running out of wall space to hang up everything we ever made or display every souvenir or gift… And it is not junk, but good stuff to keep, just not display all at once, so just rearranging…

out of clutter find simplicity - Albert Einstein

So in these first days of summer, cleaning out, airing out, lightening up, not a new concept of course, is it too late for spring cleaning? I think not, so come on over, bring some boxes and wear old clothes - something might need to be painted, you never know!

LOL - when searching Google Images for 'grandma'… check out the first picture - reminds me of my dear sweet mom…

You make me laugh. I'm getting same "constructive comments" from my daughter. Some "critiques" are appreciated, and others could be left unspoken.

I'm weak, I'm fat, and I'm not doing as much as I might to change that. I shall be remembered, I guess, as a frump.
