thanks y'all



As I was out for a Sunday drive yesterday, dodging tourists and traffic, passing by cookouts and festivals and holiday picnics, I came upon these flags at half staff, a moving reminder of the real reason we all have a day off...

... and just wanted to say thanks to all the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their/our country, we remember.


As I approach the gates of heaven
