on the road again

Madison is staying here with me this week while the rest of her family attends a funeral in Maryland. When first asked if I would keep Madison, I envisioned doing granma-stuff together - baking, sewing, crafts, games, watching tv…

But when I asked if there was anyplace she needed to be this week, like piano lessons, her mom said well actually... there is a softball game every night to make up all those rained out games earlier in the month, orthodontist appointment, talent show, here's her schedule:

Tuesday - Softball Game @ 7 p.m. (be there at 6 p.m.) at field #7 [take water]

Wednesday - Orthodontist appointment 7:30 a.m. (directions attached) takes about an hour to get there. [Don't forget school excuse.]

After school Talent Show Rehearsal – (remind Madison to bring her sheet music) Madison will stay after school and will be done at 4:45, pick her up at the front of the middle school. [have snack in car - next stop is in 15 minutes]

Softball Game @ 6 p.m. (be there at 5 p.m.) at field #5

Thursday - Softball Game 6 p.m. (be there at 5 p.m.) at field #5

Friday - Talent show during school (remind Madison to bring her sheet music)

Softball Game @ 6 p.m. (be there at 5 p.m.) at field #5

It has been a long time since I drove a mom's taxi and I don't know if I can fill Melissa's shoes, but will give it my best shot. So much for baking, there's not even enough time to cook supper, I guess we will have to eat out!
