Sometimes you are just minding your own business and someone comes along and plows into the back of your minivan…
Sometimes you're the ball
Sometimes you play the best you can - swing at the good ones, don't swing at the bad ones, and you still have to run laps after the losing game, cuz it is a team sport. Madison is learning to play softball… (hey batter batter)
Sometimes you pay $3000 for a new transmission and a week later the insurance company says your car is totaled and they are going to sell it for parts… (where's that bat?)
Sometimes you're gonna lose it all
Sometimes you get a new laptop and after 2 days of transferring all your files, programs, pictures, etc., you get to work and try to insert your Verizon PC card into the slot only to find it won't fit… (apparently size does matter)
Sometimes you get blood drawn (4 vials!) and get a call 4 days later from the nurse saying she doesn't know what to do with it… (I'd like to tell her…)
Sometimes your boss calls to tell you they are laying people off but not to worry, you are not one of them… (yet?)
Sometimes spring break comes and all your kids are whisked off to their other parents' houses and you can go on a quiet vacation! (Bon Voyage Melissa!)
