rainy day in Georgia
Breast Cancer 3-Day - Atlanta starts today. It is cold, windy, and raining here in Georgia this morning, and I am thinking of all those folks who will soon be gathering to walk for the cure.
Fellow blogger Joann is out there amongst them, she is on the support Crew while her daughter Jenny is doing the walk. Joann's blog Higher Ground has documented her journey with breast cancer since first discovering it last year. She is very excited about helping out with the 3-day walk here, after having met all of her fundraising goals. Her latest blog post was all about anticipation of this weekend, having just received her tent assignment of Z-11!
Here's hoping the weather breaks and the 3-day is a great success for all those who have worked so hard all year to get ready for it.
