no chickens here
On July 11th Chik-fil-A had their annual Cow Appreciation Day, offering a free meal to any customer who isn't "too chicken" to visit any of the restaurants dressed as a cow.
Of course our daughter, her husband, and all our grandkids had to try it! The kids cut out black spots to put on their clothes, everyone had cow horns on their sunglasses, and signs saying, "Eat Mor Chikin!"
Melissa called us on their way to Florida saying, "We just got $40 worth of food at Chik-Fil-A for free!" They posed with the Cow mascot who was walking around the store and were asked to sign a photo release by the PR department. It was an exciting way to start their vacation. Anything for a free meal, and there are definitely no chickens in this family!
