Carrie has been dropping not so subtle hints about moving to Australia, she even sold her car, paid off some bills.
She is researching the various kinds of visas - there is the vacation/working visa - which requires proof of a sizable amount of money in a bank account, proof of being able to support oneself, proof of job prospects. Their website has this heading:

This is a very interesting idea, unlike some countries who advertise at the port of entry, wanting the poor, the huddled masses, the wretched refuse, the homeless…
I believe that Australia might just be onto something here.
