autumn

The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.

The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.

Great minds think alike, as you always say. I actually blogged about fall myself this a.m.

Very pretty quilt. That leaf pattern is one of my favorites. I've included the block in samplers but need to make a quilt with just the leaves in it sometime.
