Happy Thanksgiving

May your stuffing be tasty,
May your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes 'n gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious,
May your pies take the prize,
May your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off of your thighs.

My sentiments exactly.

I got up early this morning because I was receiving some kitty kisses as I slept. Mommy get up and feed us, the little darlings said. So here I am, at 5:30 a.m. our time, blogging instead of feeding kitties. I just realized that today is the day before Thanksgiving and I still have more grocery shopping to do and then I will start cooking and baking. What was I thinking waiting so long!!!

As you sit down to eat, and you say your blessing over the food, just remember one thing. Over the lips, over the gums, look out stomach, here it comes. Happy Thanksgiving.

Very cute poem Susan. I'm sure I have gained another 10 pounds, as Jimmy keeps telling me, "You only live once, so enjoy every minute of it...You won't be back this way again."
