Absolutely lovely. I do believe that this will be the most gorgeous fall we've seen in quite some time. The trees here in our neck of the woods are also drop-dead beautiful and we are certainly enjoying the view.

Susan...isn't this the most beautiful fall we have had in a long time? I bet around your home it is just gorgeous. In the woods it takes just a little longer for the trees to turn their beautiful fall colors, but they are slowly getting there.

My son still heats on a wood stove and sometimes they cook on it also, but only when the electricity goes out...which is often. You mentioned, in your comment, that you also heated and cooked on one now.

Now your really making me miss the fall colors in the east. I can almost smell that smell that goes along with it.

Perfect shot of those oak leaves, Susan -- great color, focus, and angle. Fall is fading quick here -- and due to rains and wind, our trees were a bit sparse on leaves as they changed color.

Your fall color is beautiful. It has been a stunning color fall, hasn't it? The colors are very rich this year wherever I have been (not too far & wide). I don't want the color to end!

Oh such lovely colors. Thanks for posting the pictures. We don't have much of a change here - green or brown.
