love is in the air

Twice this week I have received e-mails bursting with excitement announcing upcoming weddings!

The first message from our nephew Ethan was designated as High Priority with the subject line - GREAT NEWS!!!

I finally got the courage up to ask her to marry me...and she said YES!!!

Congrats to Ethan and his fiance Cecilia. Ethan works for the State Department and is currently in Germany, but is scheduled to return to the US in August. We are waiting anxiously to meet Cecilia and hear of their wedding plans. Cecilia has two beautiful daughters about the same age as my grandkids!

The second message was from my good friend Robin - who lives here in Georgia, and who has been dating Danny (long-distance) in Texas for many years.

Danny asked me to marry him Memorial Day Weekend, and I said "Yes".

Robin already has all her plans made, get married here and move to Texas. I am very happy for them, and hope to see her before she leaves.

Westley: Hear this now: I will always come for you.
Buttercup: But how can you be sure?
Westley: This is true love - you think this happens every day?
